Home staging expert Debra Gould encourages home stagers not to give up. She shares her own story of perseverance as well as those of others who found great success after facing much rejection.
Home Staging Expert Provides Encouragement to Struggling Stagers
(UNITED STATES) July 19, 2011 – There are thousands of stories featuring people who faced rejection after rejection yet kept persevering until they made it.
As examples, James Dyson developed 5,126 prototypes over 5 years before he succeeded in inventing the first bagless vaccum cleaner. Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield endured 130 rejections before their first Chicken Soup For The Soul® book was published. Oprah Winfrey was even fired as a television reporter because she was “unfit for TV.”
Debra Gould, home staging expert and founder of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program, has a similar story to share.
“It wasn’t all that long ago when I started my home staging business and spent over a year struggling as a single mom while trying to figure out the right formula for making money as a home stager,” explains Gould. “Everyone told me there was no market for home staging because real estate was selling quickly, often with multiple offers. I persevered anyway, and into my second year I was making up to $10,000 a month just in staging fees. Fast forward to today, and I’ve shared my blueprint for building a successful home staging business with 4,000 students in more than 20 countries. Even 5 years ago, I would not have thought that was possible!”
Gould doesn’t have to look any further than her own students and graduates to find more home stager success stories. She recently posted a story in the Home Staging Business Report about a Staging Diva Graduate in Alaska who ended up having great things happen in her business just when she was about to give up.
In addition, Gould has assembled a collection of 10 inspiring stories about home stagers who have overcome the odds. Gould’s free report, “Ask Staging Diva: Can a Regular Person Like Me Become a Successful Home Stager?” can be downloaded from the Staging Diva website.
