Home staging expert, Debra Gould, announces that Staging Diva Graduate Heather Cook has been named Canadian Professional Home Stager of the Year.
Staging Diva Graduate named Canada’s home stager of the year
(UNITED STATES) February 21, 2011 – Staging Diva Graduate Heather Cook, co-founder of Rooms in Bloom Home Staging & Design Inc. was named Canada’s 2011 Professional Home Stager of the Year at the Real Estate Staging Association convention in Las Vegas.
Debra Gould, founder of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program, says, “Two years ago Heather and her business partner, Alana Merritt, both completed the program and it’s been a delight to watch their business grow since that time.”
Rooms in Bloom is well known locally for completing impressive staging and decorating projects that have been featured in newspapers and magazines.
In 2009, Heather wrote Gould about her staging training to say, “We appreciate your honesty and that you approach home staging as a business and not as a cute women’s hobby. This is much more realistic and helps prepare people for the realities of running their own businesses. We had been stagers almost a year before taking your program and we weren’t disappointed. Our business has gone from ‘nothing’ to being called consistently by clients and real estate agents in our area.”
Two years later the company is firmly established and doing extremely well. Gould states, “Heather and Alana’s 2011 Home Stager of the Year award is a recognition of the quality of their talents for home staging and helping homes sell fast.”
