About Debra Gould

Debra Gould FullDebra Gould is a multi-passionate entrepreneur.

She believes life is the adventure you make it and has been a bit of a rebel when it comes to career and life choices.

At the age of 9 she got in trouble for selling the most Girl Guide® cookies in Canada.

In her final “summer job” as a student, she survived an armed robbery at the age of 18. The next summer she decided it was time to work for herself.

Gould started a jewelry design company, selling her creations in office lunch rooms and bars (the Internet wasn’t invented yet).

Her creative life was literally packed away in a box when she moved to attend the top MBA school in the country.

On-campus recruiting led to a corporate and advertising agency career.

Enduring a series of bad bosses, whom she now refers to as “The Sexual Predator,” “The Guy With Anger Management Issues” and “The Alcoholic,” Gould called an end to working for anyone else in 1989.

Debra Gould is a master of personal reinvention who has lived in different cities (and on a remote island) and has made a living from various home based businesses ever since.

She bought her first real estate in her 20s and had a child on her own at the age of 35.

Gould launched one of the first integrated marketing firms, Gould & Associates Inc.— selected by Strategy Magazine in their Communications 100— which she ran for 10 years.

Wanting a more creative life, Gould gave it up to design home accessories. The Debra Gould Home Collection, landed her a magazine cover story, book feature and her first of several HGTV appearances.

Flipping 6 homes in 4 years led to an interest in real estate staging which she turned into a home staging career, launching SixElements.com in 2002. Her clients typically earned $10,000 to $100,000 more when they sold their homes because of the way Gould decorated real estate to romance home buyers.

Magazines, newspaper, TV and radio appearances built up a following of aspiring and struggling home stagers who wanted to learn how to duplicate Gould’s home staging business success.

Gould launched the Staging Diva® Home Staging Business Training Program in 2005 as the beginning of her international online education company. She has 10,000+ students in 23 countries.

Gould’s hobbies include decorating and flipping real estate and, more recently, Stand Up Comedy and Story Telling.

As President of Voice of Possibility Group Inc., Debra Gould’s mission is helping people realize the many possibilities that lie around the next corner when they build a business and life around their passions.
