Summary: Many home staging websites are ineffective because the person or persons who built them paid little attention to search engine optimization or the quality of the content. The Staging Diva®, Debra Gould, announces a new service for home stagers to help make their websites as effective as possible.
(UNITED STATES) November 15, 2010 – Many home stagers continue to underestimate the importance of an effective website and how it can help them make more money. Staging Diva, Debra Gould, believes that’s a dangerous mindset to have in today’s business climate with most people starting their search for any type of service with Google.
Gould is offering a new service for home stagers to find out why their websites aren’t working for them and how they can make improvements that will lead to more business. She’s calling this service the Home Staging Website CheckUp.
Gould has been building her own websites since 1999. The home staging website she built for her company Six Elements Inc was responsible for much of the media attention Gould attracted in her first year of business and can be attributed to helping her earn up to $10,000 a month from home staging within two years of operation. It’s also a fact that an overwhelming majority of the thousands of people from around the world who have taken Staging Diva Home Staging Courses did so after finding Gould’s training program from a Google search.
“Many home stagers falsely believe that as long as they have a website, they can attract new clients from the Internet but it’s not quite so simple,” states Gould, developer of the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers. She adds, “What people have to understand is that if their website can’t be found through a Google search or if it doesn’t immediately draw people in, then building that site was a big waste of time. With these website checkups I’ll spend up to 60 minutes on the phone with a home stager over a series of two or three calls where we’ll discuss why they’re not making money from their current home staging website and how to fix the specific problems I’ve identified.”
With each Website Checkup, Gould reviews the home stager’s website— analyzing the design, the layout, effectiveness of the sales copy, quality of photos, and gives suggestions for improvement. She even goes into the code to see if the website can be found by Google and other search engines.
Gould records each of these sessions and sends recordings to the recipients afterward so the information can be forwarded to the web developer and/or listened to again for future reference.
