On the January 9, 2010 episode of HGTV’s “The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price,” home staging expert Debra Gould aka The Staging Diva takes Ambrose under her wing, teaching him how to stage a home to sell.

The show follows Ambrose and Debra as they visit three homes that have been staged with Debra explaining what was done right and what was done wrong in each of them.

Later in the episode, Ambrose tried out his new home staging skills on a condo by himself. The show ends with Debra offering her critique of what Ambrose did with his newly acquired design skills.

Episode 3 featured Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peter MacKay, in “The Art of Seduction in Politics.”

“House Fluffing: Dress Your House for Success”

Toronto 1 shot a special segment on House Fluffing for their newsmagazine show, Toronto Tonight. Debra Gould of home staging firm Six Elements Inc. takes viewers through a home in its “before” state and describes what’s needed for it to sell quickly and for top dollar.

Subsequent scenes show rental furniture replacing what was there and then Debra takes viewers through the finishing touches adding flowers, art and accessories. Included is an interview on key steps to prepare a home for sale and the increase in selling price that can be expected.

Toronto 1TV – February 12, 2005

Debra Gould’s design talents were featured on a Valentine’s Day segment on Decorating for Romance for Toronto 1 TV’s show “The Source.” Debra focused on low cost, easy-to-do style ideas for a romantic evening.

The show was rebroadcast several times leading up to Valentines Day and then repeated throughout 2005.

In the summer of 2003, Debra Gould’s home and design studio were featured on HGTV show “Creative Spirit” by Sue Warden.

Part of the segment included an in-studio interview on why Debra gave up a lucrative career consulting to Fortune 500 companies to pursue her passion, and live the life of a designer.

Debra said, “I had to ask myself, what’s the worst thing that can happen, if I pursue my dreams?”

Debra Gould makes her HGTV debut and first TV appearance with an 8 minute segment on Sue Warden’s Craftscapes, November 2002.

Like one of those cooking shows where you have to show the recipe at various stages of completion, Debra demonstrated the multiple steps she goes through to design and paint a jewelry box.
